The entire Eletronet (Backbone) transport network was built with optical cables in OPGW technology, installed in the towers of high voltage electric power transmission lines. This technology is recognized as one of the most secure and stable in terms of long distance data transmission, offering a high level of availability, quality and continuity in the transport of optical signals.
We’ve got a monitoring system 24×7 (Tier1) through our Center of Operations (CORe) managing all the functioning of our network. All our structure of Technical Support (Tier2) is allotted there too, with five regional areas, each of them with many points of support with specialists technicians covering all the national territory.
We offer broadband capacity and scalability practically unlimited, with a high rate of availability. We use the technology DWDM, SDH, and MetroEthernet.
